DESCRIPTION

The Aquaturbo® AER-GS aerator / mixer is an equipment for the aeration and agitation of wastewater.

It is characterized for a high performance and very low maintenance, being capable of operating for long periods of time without the need for attention.

APPLICATIONS

Aeration and agitation in urban and industrial wastewater tanks in general.

Aeration and agitation in tanks of complicated industries such as poultry, pig and bovine slaughterhouses and chemical industries.

Special application in very tall biological reactors with little base.

OPERATION

The Aquaturbo® AER-GS aerator / mixer works by radially distributing the air supplied by an external blower.

The air arrives through a pipe and hose to a collector located in the lower part of the equipment and is distributed evenly by means of the cutting effect of the lower blades of the agitation cone.

The aeration / mixer cone is of large diameter and rotates at low revolutions, which gives the equipment a long life.

In the mixing phase, no air is introduced, and the upper blades produce agitation with very low electrical consumption.

CONSTRUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS

Aerator mixer in a single piece of equipment, in the aeration phase it always works in combination with a blower.

Robust stainless-steel construction and equipped with special heavy-duty reducers.

Power ranges from 1.1 to 30 Kw, with a very low noise level.

High mixing capacity, no dead zones and high oxygen transfer, even with high concentrations of activated sludge.

The agitation and aeration are independent and very efficient, facilitating the regulation of the necessary oxygen, being ideal for SBR or MBR type reactors.

The conical-shaped body and the central air distributor prevent clogging or sedimentation of solids and allow uniform air distribution around 360º.

The Aquaturbo® AER-GS is available with submersible motorization or with motorization for mounting on a footbridge or external structure.

ADVANTAGES

– Easy installation since it is not necessary to empty the tank and it is possible to connect it to existing blowers.
– It is ideal both for large tanks in which a low level of oxygen is required, and for tanks with a low base and high in which a large amount of oxygen is required.
– Much better agitation capacity than with the ejectors, when the blower stops working in the anoxia phases.
– It does not get clogged; the ejector systems have blockages in the pump and in the ejector nozzles.
– It is very effective in agitation; consumption is between 2 W/m3 with 5g/l up to 3.7 W/m3 with 12g/l.
– It can be stirred and aerated independently (nitrification/denitrification) with the same equipment.
– The agitation is carried out with a very low energy consumption and the amounts of oxygen can be regulated and controlled very easily while the mixing capacity remains constant.
